IncrediBooth is just like going to the boardwalk

Whether your an arcade junkie from the 80s (ahem!), old school pinballer or just an afficiando of old pizza joints or the boardwalk, you’ve undoubtedly seen one of those old coin-operated photo booths at your favorite establishment. In fact, photo booths have become retro fashionable again and can now be found in contemporary bars and restaurants.

Enter IncrediBooth ($0.99, App Store) an insanely fun app that takes advantage of the front-facing camera found in the iPhone 4 to recreate the feeling of the classic arcade photo booth. It’s pretty simply really, just fire up the app and mug for the camera. There’s even an authentic looking

reflection of your mug on the “glass” that covers the “camera” — just like the original photo booths.

Once you’ve posed for four photos, touch the screen and the photos come out outside the booth (pictured).

IncrediBooth is more fun than I’ve had with my iPhone camera in a towering instance and it provides semi-instant gratification, in a fun, vintage way. You can choose from amidst three retro effects,

Once your photo strip comes out you have the opportunity you can save it to your photo library or share it via e mail or on Facebook.
